Edwin G. Robley "hustlin Hazel" - 03/28/2006 06:04:10 PM
Edwin G. Robley was my grandfather he passed away in 1987 and my father my only source of info has since passed away in the last year I am trying to find anyone who knew my grandfather.  He was in the 341st Bombardment
group.  Flew in the Hustlin Hazel which was lost  16 June 1945 and then I believe he was then transfered to the Devil's Daughter.  I believe he was a tail gunner and/or bombadier.  Rank is a little sketchy CPL but I have Pics as a SSG.  Any info would be greatly appreciated.

A little more info gathered from "The Record"
"Hustlin Hazel"
11th Bomb Squadron; B-25J-1-NC; 43-3949; Sqdn Num - 405;
Received - 20 May 44 Loss Date -16 Jun 45; Olive D

According the the MACR db for this site (see nav bar at top of page) the 341st did not lose a plane on the date given.   Checking that date shows 3 planes on that day.  It is possible that there is no MACR because the plane was not lost to enemy action.
