Easy's Aces - 07/02/2007 09:33:58 PM
I am looking for information about Easy of Easy's Aces. He retired as Lt. Col. Raymond T. Eakes. He was awarded the DFC w/2OLC. I would like to know what he did to earn this medal?
The Squadron information I have is as follows: 20th AF; 21st Bomb Command; 314 th Bomb Wing; 29th Bomb Group. His plane was later changed from Easy's Aces to City of St. Louis in honor of his co-pilot who was killed on a mission.
I am best reached at kd6ube @aol.com
Thank you.
Nick (USNR-Ret)
