Dragon Lady/Terrible Terry

I tried to contact Wolseley. Bob Conway(d.1964) piloted Dragon Lady, but his stories do not make sense in my memories. From what I remember, he must have flown more than one plane, as he told me about how his best friend was shot down in his plane when he was in hospital, and how he landed once on Saipan with only one engine working well, and two engines dead. Then there was the one about being the only crewman not wounded on one flight. If you look in the book The Long Haul, you see the photo of the status board listing Lt Conway flying A-28. Now I see a posting that says that Dragon Lady was A-41. Where would I go to find out what planes he was assigned to, and the serial nunbers and tail nunbers of those planes? As an aside, he started out in the 8th flying B-24's on air-sea rescue, and ended up on Saipan in the 497th/871st.

John, my grandfather John S.Keeler was a Flight Engineer on a B-29 in in the 871st in Saipan (don't know which plane was his, unfortunately).

I just recently came across some negatives of his, and two of them show Dragon Lady. In one she is taking off (I think, or landing), and the other shows her nose art. These photos may not be precisely what you are looking for, but I offer them just in case.

I have these in higher resolution as well.
