I would like to find some information on an old friend. I am trying to find Donald E. Bush or any information on whether or not he has passed away. When I last heard from him, He was living at a VA Home in California. Don was a bombardier on a B-29 during WWII.
His plane was T-36/T square 36 with the20th airforce 73rd wing 498th bomb group. If he has passed away or if anyone knows where he may be, could you please let me know.

Thanks for the reply.  It has been a while since I checked this site and I had finally gotten a reply from the cemetery that he is buried at verifying that it is the Don Bush that I was trying to locate. At one time I had all his files and photos from his time in the service. I had sent them back to him for a reunion he was planning to attend around 2000/2001 and never heard back from him after that. I can only hope that whoever has them will take care of them and put something together for people  looking for information about B-29's and the 20th air force as I was trying to do.  He had photos of most of the planes and crews that were stationed on Saipan and many that showed what life was like their. Of course, the mission records and aerial photos that he had are the main things that I hope are being taken care of.
