My Dad, Domenick Maida, member of the 873rd Bombardment Squadron, 498th Bombardment Group, 73rd Bomb Wing, 20th Air Force, passed away suddenly December 04. He was proud of his military service and kept in touch with many of you. If you knew my dad and have any stories to tell, please let me know. He saved about 2 inches worth of records from his days as a master sgt that a historian may want, including a japanese diary found on Saipan that was translated to english.

Russell...I suggest you look at the following website : http://b-29.org/ It is decicated to the B-29'rs of WW II and Korea, and covers the 73rd Bomb Wing. JIm :-)
