Deenethorpe

Hi! I know this is probably a hopeless task, but I'll try anyway - My father (John B. Schone) was with the 401st stationed at Deenethorpe in the latter years of the war - before his death we visited the field a few times, but he was never really comfortable talking about those times - can anyone recommend reading material on the 8th at Deenethorpe, focusing more on the men then the war itself? Thanks!

If you can find a second-hand copy, as it's currently out of print, then this is the book you'll need:
"401st Bomb Group: The Best Damn Outfit in the USAAF"

    All the best,
