Dancin' With Dollies - 12/07/2007 07:23:57 AM
I have just come across this 'book' (also volume 2).  It was done by Edwin Ledbetter and I believe handed out at a reunion or mailed to members.  If anyone does not have this and would like a copy please let me know.  I will scan them into PDF format and email them to you for printing on your end.

Brian:

I am not familiar with this book, but I am looking for information on the 384th BG's missions of May 13 and May 29, 1944. They are mentioned there?

Regards,
Mike

Mike,

Thank you.

You are right. The primary targets were in the area of Poznan in Poland.

I am looking for anything on these two missions. Especially, personal accounts of the participants.

I am familiar with pilots' names and serials of their ships.

Regards,
Mike

The books are more or less true memoirs of the members of the 384th.  It is a collection of stories by the airmen or their family of letters and accounts.  It might be interesting to family of the 384th that did not receive one at a reunion.
