Crew Picture

Attached is a picture of the crew my uncle, Emery Horne, was on 8/13/43 (date on the back of the picture). He is in the front row far left. I believe this was the same crew that reported to the 533rd 9/4/43. Three signatures on the back of the picture (Robert R. Parsons, Walter F. Milligan & Vincent A. Paterno) match those in the war diary entry. “A new crew was assigned: 2nd Lts Robert R. Parsons, John H. Kels, Charles H. Smith, Thomas J. Cunningham; T/Sgt Walter F. Milligan, S/Sgts Vincent A. Paterno, Vito J. Gerulo, Elburn L Greene, James J. Embardo, Emery E. Horne.” Herbert Carqueville was made first pilot with Parsons as his copilot. John Kels took Carquevilles place on Paul Gleichauf’s crew as copilot. I was wondering how I get this picture included with the other crew pictures on this site. Rick, Each member has the ability to create one photo album in the Gallery section. Follow this link for basic information then go to the Gallery, select Member Photo Albums, and follow the instructions to create your album and post your picture. AHHH ... That link goes to a separate web site. I don't believe there is any connection to THIS site. Need to contact someone at that site for info. But there is a section for 381st photo albums in our Gallery section and I think you would follow the same proceedures as I mentioned earlier except that instead of selecting Member Photo Albums you would probably just select the 381st section instead. Perhaps a posting to the 'Help' forum or a PM to Scott Burris would be the best way to get an answer.
