Crew 84-09

My Dad was with the 6th on Tinian 1945. At the same time his cousin, 1st Lt. Raymond C. Taylor was with the 505th, 484th, (crew 84-09 I think). May 19, 1945 Ray's plane crashed shortly after take off. He was never found. Does anyone have any information about Ray, name of the plane, pictures, etc. Anything would be appreciated.

I am the 505th email coordinator and will be happy to send you all the info we have regarding this mission. Orville Crane, the CFC gunner for Crew 84-09 is still listed in the 505th Directory. I have his address and phone number. My Dad was the Bombardier on Crew 84-14. Please email or call me. I live in Bullhead City, AZ. The next 505th reunion is in Rapid City, S.D. in Sept. 2011.
