Cpt. James M. Wilkerson Jr. 29th BG - 08/23/2005 05:03:28 AM
I would be interested in any information on Captain James M. Wilkerson Jr.  He was  a Squadron Bombardier in the 20th AF, 314 Wing, 29th BG, 43rd Squadron.  His home town was Friar's Point, Mississippi and was nicknamed "Red".  He was killed  on a mission over Tokyo 4/15/1945 in the plane 42-65312, Air Commander Robert L. Fritschel.

I can tell you that he graduated from bombardier school at Kirtland, NM class 42-07.  I have a partial serial #: O-72555?  I would be interested in any other info or photos of him.  Please contact me at my bombardier website hfhmsite@safeplace.net .
