Color action film - 07/26/2008 04:12:13 PM
Lately I've been seeing a lot of color film of the 371st in action, andwas curious what the story was on it.  It's been used in the"Thunderbolts" episode of the History Channel's "Dogfights" series, aswell as the Military Channel's "Gun Camera" mini-series.
As a modelbuilder, it sure is useful.  I did a razorback 47-D to match the take-off roll footage of 4W*D.
And as an historian its a great record of an unsung unit, it's men and their activities.
Also, it serves well to record the transition from OD paintedrazorbacks to unpainted bubble tops, and how the various markingschanged.
