Cg-4a glider tail wheel

hello
one more item that i can buy but not sure its from a cg-4a glider.
The size is
Firestone sky champion 6x2 military
can someone help me out?

    that is not a CG-4A wheel, tail or otherwise.

    'cause that is not what the CG-4A tail wheel looked like.
    It was not as large as the wheel you pictured. It was a composition hard rubber/fibre constructed rolling surface on a lighter weight castor.  If I knew how to post a picture, I would.

    What you posted is not the CG-4A tail wheel. Those wheels were manufactured by the Scott Aviation Corporation and they looked like you can see below.

    That looks verry Different from the one that i almost bought.
    Im waiting for pictures from the front wheel .
    He also wants to sell it.
    Any idea what its worth.?
    I also wanne make sure it is one from the cg-4a glider.

    Not at all.
    The Scott Aviation Corporation was a very good and well-known manufacturer of various accessories for aviation, the tail wheels among others. When it comes to the US military gliders the Scott's tail wheels were installed also in the Aeronca TG-5 and Piper TG-8 training gliders. But they were smaller and other models than I posted above of course.
