Capt. J. O. Ruscitto, 350th FS, 353rd FG. - 09/25/2006 11:26:15 AM
Hi all,
I am looking for information about Capt. James O. Ruscitto, 350th FS, 353rd FG.
I am reserching biography of another American who was his friend before the war nad got killed during training with RCAF.
I will be glad to get information about Ruscitto's prewar life and war career. Also few details about his postwar service or life are welcomed.
All I know is what I was able to find out on the Internet:

42-28357 P-47D 350 LH-R Ruscitto Capt. James O Natalie Ann II Lost in this a/c 18 Sept 44 - Evaded MACR 8803
and that he has following victories: 3-1-2
Thanks a lot in advance for any additional info.
Pavel

Pavel          you may already have some info but this is the mission summary for his loss;
details at the top are
mission number, date, planes up, early returns, mission duty, Field Order, time up, time down, mission leader, target area, air claims(destroyed-probable-damaged), ground claims (same), group losses--damaged.
They probably put up 3 squadrons of 16 with 2 spares.
This P-47D was a silver bubble-top with black name; his first was a camouflaged razor-back, name in yellow.
