Can anyone assist
-

I am trying to find out information on Art Powell, who flew as a tail gumner on Patches 3. I have been told that this unit was equiped with the B25. Can any one assist with info on this matter. I believe the captain was a guy called Veltri and the Co was a guy called Moseley. Many thanks Col Tigwell Downunder
Vietnam Vet and proud of it.

Col Tigwell, Noticed your input in another thread regarding type of aircraft. According to the list of names for B-24's, there were several with the name of Patches, but not Patches 3. Difficult locating list of names for the B-25. Will provide any information I learn. Robert E. Johnson

Thank you Robert. It is often hard to help, when you have the real minimum of information. My source who needs help, does not understand many of the basic things he needs to know, before we can help him with his uncles history. I suspect that he has the unit wrong, and based on what he does know, it is likely that Patches 3 was a B25, and I suspect he belonged to the 390th Squadron of the 42 Bomb group. Thanks for your interest. Regards Col Tigwell Downunder
