Edward Imparato wrote (pub 1998) entitled "374th Troop Carrier Group" in New Guinea in WWII. I have contacted the book's publisher who does not have those pictures and Col Imparato is now deceased. I'm trying to figure out a way to find a picture of that plane and am also wanting to contact any combat photographers that served in New Guinea in 1943 that might have any additional pictures of that area during that time.
