Hi Alain, Jeffcote's P-38 on 25 Dec 44 was P-38J-15-LO, serial no. 43-28364, coded K6-F. He belly-landed in a field near Rettigny, Belgium. I have some photos showing the belly-landed aircraft and of the field as it looks today. Longhurst's P-38 on 25 Dec 44 was P-38J-25-LO, serial no. 44-23261, coded 7Y-V. His ship crashed near Grune/Marche, Belgium. I also have a couple small photos of his crash. Both pilots returned to their units on 1 Feb 45. Cheers, Gary

For Terry: I see your post says "Per History Card:". What is this and where can you find this information? I have a couple of pictures of the crash of 44-23261 and it is pretty busted up. I find it hard to believe that this ship was ever recovered and rebuilt. It looks like a writeoff. Cheers, Gary
