I have been searching for information on Remick Wallace. Remick was the radioman on this plane. He was a replacement. He died on this flight and I have been told his remains were not found until after the war. Remick was my uncle and I am looking for more information. Can you help or point me in the right direction. What do you mean by "a rose shot is caught in a standing tree". Richard Wallace

Rich, You didn't mention if you know where your uncle is buried. In case you don't here is the information (see image below). Andy Revie "It's Never Too Late To Have A Happy Childhood" [image]local://upfiles/5746/D6B4EF0F7315469AA8DE561835A88952.jpg[/image]

Rich, Reference your "...a rose shot is caught in a standing tree." question What you are reading is most probably Japanese text that has been run through a Japanese-to-American software translator. A lot of the time things like "a prickly situation" don't receive a 100% understandable translation and get translated something like "make love to a porcupine" if you get my drift. As we say in Al-Anon "Take what you like and leave the rest". Andy "It's Never Too Late To Have A Happy Childhood"
