B-26B-30 MA #41-31970 555th BS

Greetings from Uedem,

Once again I need help from the experts, regarding information on the above aircraft and crew.

B-26B-30 MA # 41-31970 from the 555th Bomb squadron. code YA-F, nickname
" Spam Burger " was lost to flak on the 7th October 1944 after bombing, along with YA-Q #  42-96220 both aircraft coming down in the lower Rhine area not far from the town of Kleve.

I know that 3 crew members died in the crash and three survived, but up till now I have not been able to identify them.

Does anyone know the names of the crew and what happened to them, final burial place/ POW camp ?.

Does anyone know if any of the survivors are still living, or address of any relatives of the crew.?

Has anyone photographs of the aircraft and crew?. I would be very grateful if it would be possible to have a copy made, if photographs do exist.

Thank you in advance

The MACR will have the names of crew members.
    1. YA-F "Spam Burger" 41-31970 pilot 2nd Lt Taylor Quince MACR # 9221 (survived the war)
    2. YA-Q "Man-O-War- IV" 42-96220 pilot Lt. James T. Marrin, Jr., MACR # 9272 (KIA)

Attachment shows Lt. Marrin's crew at Lake Charles. MACR will tell if these were his crew when plane was shot down.

Steve, Man o War had 3 KIA and 3 POW also.  Are you interested in this one or the Spam Burger?  Man o War came down on the Katzenbuckel opposite the Moyland Castle.  I have the dog tag of the Bombadier and a photo of the crew. Danny
