August 22,1943 Salerno raid

In the RAF Forum a Royal Yugoslavia Air Force pilot, Lt. Djorde Jovanovic is mentioned as having been KIA in action while flying with a USAAF B-26 Group on August 22,1943. The 319th BG lost all the B-26 on this day.
I have a copy of the 319th BG History. The entry for this date is extremely laconic.
"Mission #72: thirty planes, 500-lb bombs,Salerno marshalling yard,good coverage;24 Bf-109s destroyed and 14 probables; five B-26 lost, three in water, one crash landed on water, and one missing"
The Luftwaffe unit was the JG-53 Pik As Geschwader which claimed eleven (11) B-26s shot down. One Bf-109 pilot was killed and one Bf-109 crash landed due to battle damage.
Can anyone supply the crew list for this mission?

As you point out; nothing detailed in book "The 319th in Action". I can add a few more details. 36 aircraft participated on 319th BG mission # 72. Flight Commander was Major F.C. Holzapple, Flight Leader was 1st Lt. W.S. Craddock. Five aircraft lost. - 41-18217 437th BS B/N 19 Pilot Lt. William D. Parrish MACR 1243
- 41-18256 440th BS "Big Fat Mama" Pilot Lt. Bradford MACR 1113
- 41-34936 438th BS Pilot Lt. William C. Brown MACR 1140
- 41-35038 439th BS Pilot Lt. Dale D. Garber MACR 1311
- 41-35064 438th BS Pilot 2nd Lt. Alfred R. MacKenzie MACR 1242
The formation of 319th BG Marauders were attacked after the bomb drop over target by 50 to 60 enemy fighters. The air battle is said to have lasted 30 minutes. 24 enemy a/c were shot down. You can find more details at 320th BG website http://320thbg.org/; go to Missions and then find actual date. Mission report for 320th BG describes what type of enemy attack they experienced. 17th BG had no missions that day.
