My father flew the first mission of the 803rd the night before and the early morning of D-Day.
He flew with William Overstreet"s crew.One of 4 B-17s that jammed radio signals in preparation
for D-Day.Can anyone tell me more about this mission and his role in it?
I ordered Hutton"s book, but haven't received it yet.
