Aircraft # 43-34393 - 10/07/2007 10:50:00 AM

Doing research on this aircraft and looking for any information pertaining to the names of the crew and crew positions at the time of the crash on 12 October 1944. Two of the crew are buried together at Zachary Taylor National Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky and I am trying to obtain the names, positions, and status of the rest of the crew. Thanks in advance for any information.

Lt. Thomas E. Hughes was the Pilot. MACR 9061 will give details about the other men of the crew regarding positions.
43-34393 had battle number 39, and was in service with 37th BS 17th BG from medio July 1943 until September 12th same year. It crashed in enemy territory near Bologna, Italy, cause unknown. Target was troop concentrations near Firenzuola, Italy.
