Aerial collision over Duxford - 02/08/2008 10:00:14 AM
Hi all, I am currently writing a book on the aviation history of Cambridgeshire in England, covering all aspects including crashes. One I am covering involved 2 339th F/S  P51 Mustangs that collided over Duxford in November 1944. One of the pilots involved was Lt Alan Francis Crump. I would like to paint a side profile of his P51D-10 coded D7-G. Please could anyone tell me or know of a website where I could get the exact colour scheme for a 339th P51-D-10 in November 1944. Kind regards Julian
PS please  feel free to also contact me on j.evenhart@ntlworld.com
