Also, MACRs 2599 & 2601, show two A-24 belonging to the 531BG(?) missing on 16 Feb 1944. Having trouble locating info on the 531 BG. Can anyone help? Thanks George

A-24 is the Army version of the Navy SBD (Scout Bomber Douglas/Slow But Deadly) dive bomber.
