RE: 94th BG photos - 05/31/2006 02:03:01 PM
Ron R-

Thank you for the info!

My uncle is buried in the American Cemetary at Ardennes (Neupre, Belgium).   I hope to visit one day.....

I visited your website -- it's really wonderful.  I think it's fantastic that you and other nice people like you have "adopted" gravesites.   Greetings from here in NY to the Netherlands!

Best regards,
Margie

Hi Ron,

I don't have a photo of his marker and would love one.  It's Ardennes cemetary, Plot D, Row 15, Grave 7.   My husband and I want very much to visit Belgium and several other European countries but with two kids nearing college age, I'm not sure if we'll be able to pull it off!

Best regards,
Margie

Hi There,
My Grand Dad, George Bragdon, was with the 331st at Bury. He was shot down 1/11/44 over Rahden (42-37798) and spent 18 months at Stalag 17B. He served on both Sunnie's Big Stoop and Jimmie Boy II. Anything at all would be so appreciated. We lost him 2 years ago and it kills me not to know certain things.

Thanks very much,
Tom

I am looking for photos and/or anyone who knew my uncle, Lt. Edward S. Reed.  He was a pilot in the 410th Squadron, 94th Bomb Group, and his plane ("Superstitious Aloysius") went down on October 14, 1943.  He was taken to the POW Camp, Stalag VII-A in Moosburg.  Thanks for any help.

<snip> There are many many photos that would be more than happy to share and I hope soon to have the time to go through them again. I<snip> [signature]

Hi - As someone who lives in Suffolk (UK!) I wondered if you had any photos of the base itself, or of any of the surrounding towns or villages?  I would be interested especially in any wartime shots of Bury St Edmunds or of Ipswich?

Regards

Paul
