 86FG P-40 losses

Hi Guys

I'm hoping someone out there can assist me with information on 86FG P-40 losses.

I am researching the P-40 and in my records I have listed 10 aircraft lost by the 86FG (mostly 527FS aircraft), of these I have names for 7 of the pilots.   What I'm hoping someone can help with is the names for the last three and any infomation on markings etc for the unit.

The losses were on th 22 may 1944 and two for the 27 May 1944.

Hi Buz,
          On the website for the 86th FBG www.86fighterbombergroup.com we are in the process of posting the war diaries for the 86th FBG, 525, 526 and the 527 FBS.  The downloads will be picking up speed in the weeks to come and you should be able to get some data from those diaries.

Also 27 May 43, 42-10861, Curtiss P-40L-15-CU Warhawk, Ground Accident (Ground Crew) 527FBS, 86FG, 12AF, Plane destroyed, ground accident fire, Marcianise AF, Italy
