868 Bomb Squadron

This is an interesting forum. As an Army brat (father was CID, 31 years) with an interest in history, I've learned quite a bit. I was recently at an estate sale here in San Antonio, TX and came across two coffee mugs from the late 40's/early 50's. One side has a picture of a B-24 with "Snoopers" and "868 Bomb Sq.". The other side has a list of stations: Guadalcanal, Munda, Los Negros, Noemfoor, Morotai and Okinawa. I don't want any money for these, I just thought someone who served or had a family member that served with the squadron might appreciate them. Thanks! I've enjoyed the forum! Karin

Hi Karin,
I've just joined this forum. I'm the son of a Snooper who flew with Roger Ruff's dad on the Coral Princess. I was wondering what the status is on the 868th Coffee Mugs you mention in your post. If one or both are still available I'd be interested in them.
