Does anyone know the date of death for 1Lt Marvin E. Balderson?

Balderson had a takeoff accident that wiped out a P-40K on 1 March 1944 so his death would have had to be after this date.   Ted51

Balderson died on 26 May 1944 in a crashlanding at Changsha in P-40N 42-105249, squadron number 176, "The Virginian."
