Hi Don!

I've been looking for information on Dad's outfit and crewmembers since 1999 and have found very little. Information about the crash in 1951 is also hard to come by. Mention your researching the 509th and you get a call from a federal agent...who tells you there is nothing available regarding the "accident". I'd be glad to share the informnation I've found with you if you'd like!
