72nd bomb sq 5 bomb gp h

My great uncle was 2nd Lt Anthony J. Goode. he was a navigator flying in a liberator that was shot down over new guiena on 5th may 1944. I am looking for any information about him and what he did. The notification letter was signed by Capt Leo H Hunt AC Commander. I have a photo copy of a picture with my uncle in front of a liberator with numbers reading 632. Any help would be great.

If the numbers "632" were large block numbers on the nose, this may have been a training aircraft.

    Could you post the image?
