500th BG MIA Cases - 02/01/2008 09:59:11 PM
Hi All,

I believe I've compiled most of the 500th BG MIA cases on the Project PRIAM database:
http://www.pacificghosts.com.au/priam/
Feel free to go through the database and send through any updates/corrections that need to be made.

I am however having a few problems linking up a few crew members with their aircraft and was hoping people here might be able to assist with the following cases...

Sgt Gerard H Bonelli, 31423402, 881st BS
May 26, 1945
Did he replace Von Schilieder as Flight Engineer aboard 44-69755?

Sgt Charles Hicks, 33897030, 882nd BS
January 23, 1945
I thought Sgt Hicks may have been aboard 42-24785, though TETSUYA's post of August 14, 2004 lists Sgt William R Dutschke, 35726679 (497th BG) as being a member of this crew.

Sgt Aughst O Renner, Jr, 16149426, 883rd BS
December 13, 1944
Blown out of a gun blister on approach to Nagoya.  Does MACR 10656 relate to this incident?  Which aircraft was Sgt Renner aboard at the time?

T/Sgt Martin V Taylor, 19034131, 883rd BS
Cpl Donald P Flynn, 42028450, 883rd BS

November 29, 1944
Were these two crew members aboard 42-65218?

2/Lt Frederick W Shippee, Jr, O-866861, 883rd BS
Sgt Robert M Sadler, 39855670, 883rd BS
No Information.

Any assistance on any of these cases would be greatly appreciated!

Daniel...I have this MACR and it has Sgt Charles F. Hicks as a gunner aboard 42-24785.  Sgt William R. Dutschke was not on this aircraft.  The MACR is 11386.
