493rd-863rd Heltons Hellcats

Looking for information or contacts with the crew or familys of the crew of 493rd BG Heltons Hellcats 863rd BS, B-17 airoplane #43-38298. Pilot Capt.William C Holman Jr.,Co-pilot Ransom C. Chamberlain, Navigator John Stimek, Bombaridier Raymond A. Lee, top turret gunner Elmer A. Schulz, radio operator Albert N. Henna, BT Mrcel C. Peternoster, waist gunner Byron T. Johnson, tail gunner John W. Moffat, plane was shot down over Germany(A/A Flak). The pilot and navigator returned to crash land the plane back inside the American lines and then were returned to England. My father Byron T. Johnson parachuted out with the rest of the crew and was the only EVADER (escaped & evaded capture to make his way back to the American Lines) all others were POWs.
