ATTENTION LIBERAIDERS
 
Please mark your calendars now.
 
The 2008 Reunion of the 461st Bomb Group (H) will be
held this year in Dayton Ohio, October 9-12, 2008.
 
The feature attraction will be the Museum of the United States Air Force which is a fantastic museum. Hotel location is being determined curretnly and more details will be posted as they become available.
 
If you're are veteran, decendent or even just a friend of the 461st, please consider attending. I know of many first time attendees and have never heard of one that didn't think it was worthwhile. These veterans and their wives are wonderful people and completely embrace other
family members and friends at the reunions.
 
Please think about attending; you'll be glad you did!

Our reunion hotel will be the Holiday Inn Dayton North which is located at the
intersection of I-75 and Wagner Ford Road in Dayton.
 
Our booking code is BOM and you can reserve your room by
calling 937-278-4871. Our group rates are good for
three days prior to and three days following
the reunion dates.
 
A free airport to hotel shuttle is available
 
I hope to see you in Dayton this fall.

Looking forward to your reunion this coming fall.   Hopefully, your visit to the museum will be on Friday morning as that is the day and time that I have been volunteering.

Thanks for the reply. Yes we will be there first thing Friday morning, October 10th to view the B-24 "up close and personal". I've been to the museum twice now in preparation for this event and can't wait to get back again. I swear I wouldn't mind just putting a cot somewhere and living in the place! I'll make it a point to look you up when we get there.

Met a veteran this morning at the museum and his group is having there reunon next month.  They are staying at the Holiday Inn as well but will be having the reunion dinner at the museum and in the modern flight gallery under the wings of the B-52.  Not sure how far your plans are, but they are looking forward to the dinner in the museum as opposed to some hotel and/or restaurant.
