Cheers Rick...nice comments!

Alain,  the three 338th pilots got caught and lost in a thunderstorm that knocked out their compasses.  Gevorkian and Kester elected to crash land on a beach at Cap Ferret, west of Bourdeaux when their fuel ran low. They were picked up by the French Resistance, evaded capture and eventually returned to the 55th via Spain.  Sadly Lt. Hansard decided to head out to sea believing that it was the English Channel.  He eventually ran out of fuel and crashed into the Bay of Biscay.  His body was found by a ship and Lt. Hansard was given a burial at sea.
Dave Kingshott in England is renovating the P-51 that Gevorkian crash landed 'Da Quake'.
