42-95030 TAKE IT EASY
Just putting this info up for Don Morrison's list of ac on the 93rd BG website (as my email address for him isn't current). Found in the book, "32 Co Pilots" by Charles Bastien, Trafford Publishing, 2004, Victoria, BC. Cited on page 158, with two small pictures on page 159 of it crashing in Sweden on 20 June 1944 after the raid on Politz that wiped out all but one ac of the 856th sqd 492nd BG. Pilot of TAKE IT EASY (42-95030) was 1st Lt E H Shaw, KIA. Des Mulligan was one of three crewmen that survived the ordeal. Don't know his rank.
Also on Arthur Ferwerda's (sp?) webpage, he lists the ac of a "Flyin Moose" don't know if it's the same one as you have listed as the "Flying Moose" or not. Just an FYI.
