The 445th sent 33 aircraft to bomb aviation industry target in Brunswick, Germany on 20 Feb 44 as part of the "Big Week" effort.  Three aircraft were lost that day and Sgt James J. Radatta was flying as tail turret gunner on Lt Robert Kiser's crew from the 703rd Bomb Squadron (MACR #2438)
