Lt. H.B Smith was a good friend and class mate of mine.  We went through most of our training together and graduated in Class 44D, Napier Field, Dothan, Ala.  From there we went to RTU at Page Field. Ft. Meyers, Fla flying P-40Ns and A-24s.  Travel to the UK 1st of Nov on the Il De France and both of us assigned to the 55th Sq, 20thFG.  By the way my serial # was O-830526

I have copies of our orders commissioning us and designating us as pilots.  I also our class book from Napier that includes a picture of H.B with his flight mates.  I may have more but need to know if you are interested before I start searching.  Contact me at my e-mail address.
