Hello,
 
I try to find the place where 2Lt. Matyasz crashed on 16. March 1944 ( 42-67907, MACR 3098).
 
Can anybody help me on my search.

Hello
According history of 20FG  Led for this mision by Major JOHNSON was a support escort for 3 boxes of B.24 The bombers were covered from 11h13to 12h21 during which time no german
aircraft put in an appearance  On the way home the Lt. Robert MATYASZ ( 55FS.)was hit by Flak probably over LIEGE ( BELG.) He was contacted and told to head south before bailing out
The Lt. Robert MATYASZ is buried in cemetery Ardennes    D. 5. 2.
