29 June 1944 Crash on Take-Off (2Lt Nestler, Joseph D)

29 June 1944 Crash on Take-Off (2Lt Nestler, Joseph D) - 08/24/2008 11:52:30 AM

This individual and all of his crew were killed on take-off on 29 June 1944. Since there was no MACR initiated for this mishap, I was wondering if anyone would have the tail # on this aircraft. I have looked at the "Legacy of the 90th Bombardment Group" and it describes the mishap on page 123 but does not indicate the tail number. Thanks in advance for any information.
