2006 Reunion
The 2006 Troop Carrier Reunion will be held October 1-5, 2006 at the Ramada Beach Plaza Resort, Fort Walton Beach, Florida. It will be hosted by the last surviving Squadron Commander, Bob Gates. Dear Patrick,
 
My father, Bill Allin, who was the pilot of the C-47 "Drag 'em Oot", will be attending with my Mom.  They will be there October 1-5.

Can you ask him to speak with his buddies about the formation charts for the d-day flight?
perhaps one of them know where they are? I sent an email to Bob Gates some time ago and i got no answer yet.

If they can provide, for d-day mission, the formation chart for the 438th TCG (A/C serial number, name of pilot (or aircrew) and chalk number in the formation).
I think it's located in the field order #1 issued for the group around 2 June and for each squadron on 2 or 3 June
