greetings all ! looking for the victory total for the date as well as the areas covered and type of a/c in opposition. right now I have seen a couple of copied after action reports stating 109's were engaged and shot down..... this may have been the attack against Bf 109G-10's from IV./JG 301 which was soundly defeated by the 78th fg and I believe the 357th fg. thanks for any info E ~

thanks again Mike, I wonder if they shot up the other 7 109's of Jg 301 as they tired to flee, although Burg is to the north of magdeburg. Mike does it mention Fw 190's at all ? , this would make sense taking on the bulk of JG 301 or 300 on the date just noted that III./JG 300 was intercepted about 17 or so miles from it's airfield at Jüterbog which is NE of Leipzig so that is a strong possibility for the 357th fg E ~
