DO YOU HAVE ALL THIS INFO? COULDN'T FIND A PIC OTHER THAN THE SQUADRON PHOTO BELOW-JIM 42-7907 P-47D 350 LH- Newman Lt. Robert L "Moose" Lost in this a/c 5 Nov 43 - KIA. Nickname due to his large size. 1447 Jonah's Feet Are Dry By Graham Cross. Graham Cross's long awaited history of the 353rd Fighter Group is now available. At last, this unjustifiably neglected and underrated outfit has it's story told the way it should be, in a (literally) weighty volume that both they and Graham can be proud of. This is how unit histories should be written! This is a numbered, limited edition of only 2000 copies. Measuring 305mm x 215mm, the 696 pages include 980 illustrations, operational diary, pilot yearbook and detailed appendices. Order online at www.353rd.com 350th Fighter Squadron 350th Fighter Squadron 350th Squadron Photograph 350th Squadron Photograph

Hello Dan, Searching the internet I came upon your message concerning 1st Lt Robert L "Moose" Newman. Can you tell me for sure that mr Newman crashed in Belgium on the 5th of november 1943? I have another record of this aircraft 42-7907 which was dug out soon after the war on the isle of Goeree-Overflakkee. Herebye the pilot bailed out and was taken POW. Working on a internet site which covers the WW2 aera on this isle I'm very curious about this. greetings Kees
