12th Anti-Submarine Squadron (Heavy) personnel info wanted

I am trying to find any information on a 1Lt. L. R. Blackburn. He may have been with the 12th Anti-Submarine Squadron. I do not have any other personal info on him, i.e. serial number or home of record. In February 1942 he was with the 104th Observation Squadron at Atlantic City, NJ. That squadron was deactivated in October 1942 and the personnel transferred to the 517th Bomb Squadron (Heavy).
The the 517BS was redesignated 12th Anti-Submarine Squadron (Heavy) and assigned to the 25th Anti-Submarine Wing on November 29, 1942.
Stationed at Langley Field, November 1942 - September 1943
Stationed at Blythe AAF, CA. September 18, 1943 - September 24, 1943
Redesignated 859th BS September 24, 1943
 
If anyone has any info on the 12th Anti-Sub Sqdn. please pass it on.
