1250TH MP CO , STA 138 - 03/20/2007 10:29:13 PM
Does anyone know where I could find the unit history of the 1250TH MP CO? My Dad was a SGT with this outfit and was assigned to Snetterton Heath, STA 138, from 1943-45. I have searched the internet with no luck. I'm not sure how many records are left after the fire ARPERCEN suffered in the 1970's. Is there any mention of the unit in Snetterton Falcons?

If anyone out there is either a former member of the unit or related to one, I have a lot of photos that Dad brought home of the MP's. Some of the photos have the names written on the back.

Below is one of the pictures. Does anyone recognize somebody? Please contact me if you do.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

My Dad was in the 1250th but I'm not sure about the STA. His name is Gerald "Red" Reed. He arrived in England in July of 1943 and went to France and then Germany. I'm trying to put together information for a shadow box and possible photo book for him while he can still enjoy it. Could you check the names on some of the pictures to see if any match?

Thanks,
Mike

Don't know if this helps, but the 1250th was activated 10 Apr 43 at Fort Custer (along with a number of other MP Companies, Aviation) and moved to England within a couple of months.
